Safeguarding
Everyone has a statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and to maintain a professional attitude of it could happen here where safeguarding is concerned.
Marshbrook First School is committed to safeguarding children, remaining vigilant and maintaining a safe environment. Staff at the academy will act without delay to protect children and will seek to work in partnership with families and external agencies to improve the outcomes for children who are vulnerable.
All staff are encouraged to report any concerns that they have, however big or small they may be. These are reported as soon as possible to the academy safeguarding team.
We are an Operation Encompass school. This means that we receive notification from Staffordshire Police when a domestic abuse incident has occured in a child’s home, so that we may support the child.
